Palmer has been a big winner with the Big Red

Carson Palmer has found his football heaven in the desert.

Drafted No. 1 overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2003 after winning the Heisman Trophy as a senior at USC, Palmer played his first eight seasons with the Bengals, leading them to playoff losses following the 2005 and 2009 seasons.

After a 4-12 finish in 2010, Palmer requested a trade and got into an ugly contract dispute with team president Mike Brown. The team drafted Andy Dalton in the second round of the 2011 draft as Palmer vowed to retire rather than play out his contract with the Bengals.
