Doug Flutie is replacing Mike Mayock as its lead analyst on NBC's telecast of Notre Dame games. NBC (KSDK, Channel 5) again televises the Fighting Irish's home games, and is entering its 25th season as the team's primary TV outlet.
This year's schedule has six contests, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5 when Notre Dame entertains Texas. Sister network NBCSN also has the Irish's game against Boston College, on Nov. 21 in Fenway Park.
