Out of 39 players in the NFL to attempt at least 100 passes this season, only one has yet to fumble the football: Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. In fact, some quarterbacks have played a lot less and fumbled a lot more.
Kirk Cousins and Justin Fields each have seven fumbles even though they have only played in eight games. Josh Dobbs, who has played for two different teams this season, leads the NFL with 14 fumbles in 12 games. Lamar Jackson, the quarterback expected to face the Rams on Sunday if his illness reported on Thursday doesn’t stop him, has the second-most fumbles this year with 11.
