The Los Angeles Rams had whittled the 90-player roster down to the regulation limit of 53 players. Along the way, the team ran out of room, and many fan favorites were released along the way. But as is often the case, the story of many NFL hopefuls does not end there. The initial 53-man Rams roster is simply a starting point. The 17-game regular season is a long, grueling process.
Last year's starters for Week 1 included IOL Jonah Jackson, DB Tre'Davious White, and OT Joe Noteboom, none of whom are even with the team now. By season's end, more than 70 players are likely to see some level of playing time.
