This week there is an abnormally simple focus for analyzing the situation with the Los Angeles Rams: Quarterback Jared Goff is an expensive player who is struggling with accuracy and decision-making to the detriment of a team that has an exceptionally strong defense and the best defensive player in the NFL.
Over his last six starts, in which the Rams are 3-3, Goff has 11 turnovers and is completing 64.5% of his passes for only 6.57 yards per attempt. Since Week 6, Goff ranks 30th in adjusted yards per attempt, 25th in completion percentage, 28th in passer rating and only one quarterback has thrown more interceptions.
