The Los Angeles Rams and the Dallas Cowboys could play a preseason game in the same stadium where the University of Hawaii football team plays bad football: Aloha Stadium.
The Rams announced they were be playing in Aloha Stadium last November, but no opponent was named at the time. Now, ESPN is reporting the Cowboys are in talks with LA to be that opponent for a possible game on August 17.
As ESPN reporter Todd Archer writes, this could affect a possible joint practice between the two teams.
Because the teams will play against each other in the regular season, there is some reluctance to practice against each other before the preseason game, but both teams could go to Hawaii early for separate practices and community events.
