Over the last couple of days, there’s been plenty of speculation surrounding whether the Los Angeles Rams would get to face former wide receiver Sammy Watkins during Monday night’s battle against the Kansas City Chiefs.
With the Chiefs coming to town, the status of Watkins has been up in the air as a result of a foot injury the wideout has been dealing with, but it looks like he’ll be ready to go to square off against the team he spent the 2017 season with.
Right before the start of last season, the Rams made a surprise move in the middle of preseason by acquiring Watkins from the Buffalo Bills to provide Jared Goff with another dangerous weapon to work with in the passing game.
