If you take a look at any of Chris Long’s social media feeds, you can tell that the Rams defensive end is an avid outdoorsman. While he’s been on plenty of trips to foster that interest, Long says his most rewarding experience in that regard was climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro a few years ago.
“I felt it was the most beautiful experience I’ve ever had,” Long said recently in an interview with stlouisrams.com. “Being able to travel opened up my eyes to a lot of things.”
“What struck me was people’s attitudes. Almost every person -- to a man or woman I met there -- was really gracious and had a great energy and spirit about them,” Long continued.
