Last Minute Thoughts: Can Rams offense find their footing?

Much of the offseason chatter surrounding this year’s Los Angeles Rams team suggested that the team expected to take a sizeable step back on defense while the offense could remain competitive and keep them afloat. Many of LA’s roster moves seemed to embrace this thinking, based on the high profile veterans that are no longer playing defense for the Rams: Jalen Ramsey, Leonard Floyd, Bobby Wagner, etc. Instead it’s been a growth year in Los Angeles as rookies like Byron Young and Kobie Turner become acclimated to the pro game.

Those growing pains on defense were foreseeable and expected; however, it’s concerning to see the Rams offense struggle when so many of its foundation pieces are mostly still in place.
