The LA Rams are not in the right draft position to select a 2020 starting left tackle in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. That’s problematic, as the team is bracing for the loss of veteran left tackle Andrew Whitworth to the 2020 NFL Free Agency market. Based on the debacle of the 2019 season with the hodgepodge patchwork to the offensive line, that is the last thing the Rams want to endure again. While the Rams can reinforce the roster in the 2020 NFL Draft, they are starting at pick number 52. At that point, the team cannot count on filling roster holes.
