LA Rams halftime recap: Climbing to the NFC West crown
The NFC West Championship has ended up in the hands of either the LA Rams or the San Francisco 49ers in the past three seasons. Since head coach Sean McVay took over the reins of the Rams, the crown has ended up on the head of the Rams twice, the 49ers once. But 2020 feels like a new beginning, a clean slate.
The game began with an impressive six-play 75-yard drive by the 49ers. San Francisco certainly reworked the offense to requeue struggling quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo with quick passes to WR Deebo Samuel, TE George Kittle, and WR Brandon Aiyuk.
