Los Angeles Rams rookie S John Johnson, aka Johnny John Jon Johnson Johnstone aka J5, is one of five nominees for the NFL Pepsi Rookie of the Week Award for Week 5 for his performance in the Rams’ 10-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Johnson, a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, picked up his first career start on Sunday in replace of S Maurice Alexander, a healthy scratch on the inactives. Less than 24 hours later, Alexander was no longer a Ram as he was released for WR Mike Thomas coming off of his four-game suspension.
