For the first time in St. Louis Rams’ head coach Jeff Fisher’s career, he’s fired a coordinator/coach in season. It’s obviously not ideal, and it certainly comes with the circumstances.
Those circumstances, simply, are a 4-8 record on the heels of a five game slide. And therefore, Fisher says, "we need to move in a different direction," specifically referring to offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti. He went into specifics, as well.
