Prior to the 2016 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams were in desperate need of a quarterback to build the franchise around, and while Jared Goff still has a few areas in need of improvement, watching him develop over the last two years has been amazing to witness.
Football fans can say whatever they want about the struggles surrounding Goff from his rookie campaign in 2016, but also keep in mind that Los Angeles did a terrible job with putting him in position to succeed.
From the offensive line being horrendous to having one of the league’s weakest receiving corps, it was unfair to criticize Goff the way some critics did during his rookie campaign, but on a positive note, at least it was a great learning experience.
