It was only last September that LA Rams quarterback Jared Goff signed a “record” contract extension with the club. Less than a year later he’s already been surpassed in some regards by other deals.
Goff signed a four-year, $134 million deal and a “record” $110 million “guaranteed” with the Rams. It came shortly after a four-year, $128 million with $107 million for Carson Wentz, who hit some “record” figures with the Philadelphia Eagles.
On Monday, it was announced that the Kansas City Chiefs are signing Patrick Mahomes to a 10-year deal with a record $503 million attached to it in some form or shape.
