Hochman: Getting NFL's attention is goal for BattleHawks' McCoil, teammates

Dexter McCoil uncoils dexterously. He emerges from his defensive stance as a 6-foot-4 BattleHawk ball hawk, a rarity at the linebacker position, making McCoil an XFL X-factor.

“I’m a very humble person, but I think I’m one of the best cover linebackers there is,” said McCoil, who finished third in the XFL in tackles, with 36. “I used to play safety and I know how to see (linebacker) from a safety perspective.
