Halftime Notes: Rams at Lions

EFFICIENT OFFENSE

Though the Lions scored first with an eight-play, 75-yard scoring drive, Los Angeles put together a nice drive in response, culminating in wide receiver Kenny Britt’s first touchdown reception of the season.

Running back Todd Gurley led the charge with four carries for 29 yards on the possession — including a 15-yard scamper on the Rams’ first offensive play. On 2nd-and-5 from Detroit’s 20-yard line, quarterback Case Keenum rolled to his right, waited for Britt to find the soft spot in the zone, and delivered an accurate ball.
