Ridiculous doesn’t even begin to describe the type of bounce-back season Todd Gurley is having with the Los Angeles Rams in 2017 when considering how many football fans had given up on the former Georgia running back after last year, even though it wasn’t really his fault. With a poor offensive line along with the Rams trailing in most games, Gurley wasn’t receiving the necessary touches he needed, and as bad as it sounds, seeing him fail to record a single 100-yard rushing game wasn’t really that much of a surprise.
This time around, however, Gurley has flourished under Sean McVay‘s offense, and it’s one of the main reasons why he’s all of a sudden a strong favorite to take home MVP honors after recently crossing the 2,000-yard mark from the line of scrimmage to go along with 19 total touchdowns.
