It's no secret that Matthew Stafford has been dealing with a back injury this offseason, and a former NFC West QB just sounded the alarm with the Rams' passer. Stafford is still not participating on a consistent basis, and it truly now feels like his Week 1 status is up in the air.
This is just a disaster for the Los Angeles Rams, but I guess it should not come as a total surprise. Stafford has been banged up for most of his career in some capacity. While he actually hasn't missed a ton of game action, he's played hurt too many times to count.
