It took a little time, but the Rams’ offense got going strong once again against the Colts on Saturday night.
Quarterback Nick Foles connected on 10 of his 11 first-half passes, establishing a strong rhythm with the group he leads.
“His numbers were good,” head coach Jeff Fisher said. “He knew where to go with the ball. We had a couple of protection issues, which I think you attribute to the preseason. He knew he was going to get hit and he got back up and he kept playing.”
The highlight of the first half came when Foles hit on a deep pass to wide receiver Chris Givens for a touchdown.
