On Sept. 4, 2010, the University of Missouri defeated the University of Illinois 23-13 in the Arch Rivalry football game at the Edward Jones Dome in downtown St. Louis.
On the Mizzou roster that day were a pair of freshman receivers, L’Damian Washington, who caught one pass for 11 yards in his college debut, and Marcus Lucas. The two will return to the venue, now known as The Dome at America’s Center, in a couple of weeks when their new team, the St. Louis BattleHawks, makes its home debut.
