LA Rams special teams coach Jim Fassel knows special teams. His special teams are regularly among the best in the NFL year in and year out. So it’s no wonder that he is drawing a lot of interest from Dallas Cowboys new head coach Mike McCarthy. At least, that is what ESPN’s Todd Archer is reporting.
Losing Fassel would be a huge blow to the Rams. Right now, the Rams have discharged defensive coordinator Wade Phillips and running backs coach Skip Peete. While the Rams took a step back on offense, and some can argue on defense, special teams performance has been rock-steaty under Fassel.
