Fox is about to kick off its foray into televising the NFL’s Thursday night package, and the St. Louisan will be calling those games with analyst Troy Aikman in addition to a contest on most Sundays when the network has an NFL doubleheader — which it does not have this weekend.
Then Buck will add postseason baseball once the National League Championship Series begins, albeit giving up the Sunday NFL games through the World Series.
“There’s been a lot of talk about that, like this is a crazy notion of doing two games in one week,” he said Tuesday on a conference call.
