The Los Angeles Rams have had the same bookend tackles for the last four seasons, and both Andrew Whitworth and Rob Havenstein are back in camp in 2021. There’s no reason to think that the Rams will need a tackle this season, especially with Joseph Noteboom back for another season as one of the NFL’s top backup offensive linemen.
But things will change soon for Sean McVay’s tackle situation and it’s possible that a recent first round pick will become available in the coming weeks. Or at least, by next year.
Whitworth turns 40 in December, Noteboom is a free agent in 2022, and Havenstein has just one more year remaining on his deal after this season.
