But it's as much of a race against time as it is against 31 other NFL teams that have the same lofty aspirations. Every team wants to win the Super Bowl. Only one team can. That creates a bit of a challenge for veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford.
While the 37-year-old hurler is in peak form right now, the front office has already acknowledged that time is working against him. Contracts are on a year-to-year basis, despite have Stafford inked to a deal through 2026.
