EARTH CITY, Mo. -- After St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke recently made it clear to his fellow owners that he's willing to share his proposed Inglewood stadium in an effort to move his team to Los Angeles, much was made of how that could play out.
Many speculated again that the San Diego Chargers could bail on the Oakland Raiders and the Carson project and join with the Rams in some sort of grand bargain. Theoretically, that could still happen.
But Ken Belson of the New York Times reported Monday that the Chargers and Raiders recently made it abundantly clear that they have no intention of changing that stance at the moment.
