CINCINNATI (AP) -- Tight end Tyler Eifert and linebacker Rey Maualuga are among the Cincinnati Bengals players sidelined by injuries as the team opens training camp this week.
The Bengals listed Eifert, Maualuga, defensive tackle Brandon Thompson and receiver James Wright as unable to participate in the team's first practice on Friday. Eifert hurt his left ankle at the Pro Bowl, had surgery, and is expected to miss most of camp and possibly a few games of the regular season.
Thompson and Wright are recovering from knee injuries.
