With a win Sunday afternoon, the St. Louis Battlehawks will earn a spot in the XFL playoffs.
But their opponent in the 2 p.m. game at The Dome at America’s Center, the Seattle Sea Dragons, also has its sights set on the final North Division playoff berth.
The Battlehawks (6-2) rallied to beat the Sea Dragons 20-18 in February as kicker Donny Hageman booted a 44-yard field goal as time expired. The loss dropped the Sea Dragons to 0-2, but they responded with a five-game win streak that was halted last weekend when the visiting D.C. Defenders held on for a 34-33 victory.
