When the St. Louis Battlehawks’ offense takes the field Sunday afternoon against the D.C. Defenders at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., it will mark a reunion of sorts.
At center for the visiting Battlehawks will be Mike Panasiuk. His younger brother, Jacub, plays defensive end for the Defenders.
“It should be fun,’’ 25-year-old Mike said. “We’ve always been teammates, so this’ll be the first time we’ve ever faced each other. He plays on the end, but with Gregg Williams as his defensive coordinator, we’re expecting lots of blitzes and shifts along the line to try to confuse us.
