Area standout Desir looking forward to Browns vs. Rams

Pierre Desir is coming home, and he’s bringing a bunch of his buddies from Cleveland with him.

Desir, who starred at Francis Howell Central High and at Lindenwood University, made his third NFL start for the Browns on Sunday and, according to the press box stats, finished with a game- and career-best 12 tackles, including 10 solos, in a 26-23 overtime loss to Peyton Manning and the undefeated Denver Broncos in Cleveland.

The Browns, off to a 2-4 start, travel to St. Louis to take on the 2-3 Rams on Sunday in a noon game at the Edward Jones Dome.
