After winning their first two games of the 2017 NFL preseason, the Los Angeles Rams came up short for their third contest after falling to the Los Angeles Chargers 21-19 on Saturday night. And while Sean McVay decided to rest a good amount of starters to avoid the risk of injuries, ugly doesn’t even begin to describe how this game looked at times for the Rams on both sides of the football.
Don’t be fooled by the close score when considering the Rams found themselves trailing 21-0 early on the first quarter, although the defense does deserve credit for preventing the Chargers from scoring over the final three quarters.
