The Los Angeles Rams are in the extremely fortuitous position of both being able to contend for a championship with quarterback Matthew Stafford and head coach Sean McVay at the sticks and possibly earning a top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after a trade with the 4-7 Atlanta Falcons last season.
The Rams could use this windfall to help address their need for a more robust offensive line, a secondary that could lose some big names in free agency, and a quarterback room that could do with a young player who can work his way to elite status behind Stafford over the course of a few years.
