The Los Angeles Lakers are the most historic franchise in the NBA. Sure, they are tied with the Boston Celtics for the most championships in NBA history but the Lakers have had more star power and more defining eras in franchise history.

Most of the Celtics’ championships are from Bill Russell’s insane run during a time in which there were only eight teams in the league.
