Kobe Bryant was still wearing his hospital ID bracelet when he led the Lakers to victory just one day after the birth of his first daughter.
The Lakers star wore that plastic band around his wrist for the whole game, as he dropped 26 points, 11 assists and three steals to push the purple and gold past the Clippers, 96-92.
The lead never swung more than six points either way, as the Lakers’ edge shrunk to three with 36.5 seconds left. But Bryant provided his team’s final four points to keep their Staples Center co-tenants at bay.
