The rims at Staples Center haven’t been kind to Los Angeles Lakers rookie Svi Mykhailiuk so far this season. The rims at the UCLA Health Training Center have been kind to him, as have the rims at the Thomas & Mack Center, but the rims at Staples just haven’t done it for the 21-year-old.
Through 13 games this season, Mykhailiuk is shooting 25.7 percent from the field and converting just 27.3 percent of his 22 total 3-point attempts in the NBA. He’s looked less like Klay Thomspon and more like actual clay on the basketball court.
