With the 2018-19 NBA trade deadline near, the Los Angeles Lakers are racing against the clock to trade for Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans.
Since Davis made a formal trade request through agent Rich Paul, the Lakers have been working to come up with five different scenarios to acquire him.
So far, there has been little to no traction on a trade given the Pelicans still have leverage in the situation. They may find better offers come July 1 depending on several factors like the 2019 NBA Draft and how teams fare in the playoffs.
