Even after back-to-back losses to the Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are still fourth in the Western Conference.
However, the Lakers have already looked to the trade market to improve the roster. Trevor Ariza was widely speculated to end up in Los Angeles before being traded to the Wizards, leaving one less target for the Lakers to pursue.
One interesting name that has been linked to the Lakers is Carmelo Anthony. Anthony has been left out of the Houston Rockets rotation as the team tries to find a trade partner willing to take on the 34-year-old.
