The juggernaut Lakers of the In-Season Tournament continued their historic run in the competition's inaugural year on Tuesday by routing the Jazz, 131-99. The purple and gold finished a perfect 4-0 in group play and, barring some wild blowouts in the final games of group play, will be the No. 1 seed in the knockout rounds for the Western Conference.
For a number of reasons, it was a welcome and enjoyable victory. With a game on Wednesday against Dallas, having your key players play low minutes was a huge win in itself on the evening.
