The Los Angeles Lakers reportedly are ‘all excited’ about the opportunity to win the 2020 NBA Finals after the Board of Governors approved the league’s 22-team plan.
According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, the Lakers wanted to see the 2019-20 NBA season through and will get a chance to finally do so amid the coronavirus.
“I was just on the phone with a Lakers team source who told me, ‘We’re all excited the NBA figured out a conclusion to the season because it means we have a title to play for,'” McMenamin said when asked about the team’s reaction to the news.
