It turns out that the "Perfect" green beam release in NBA 2K18 isn't so perfect. Here's a quick video showing the proof. It would totally suck if this happened in in the closing seconds of a tight game.
I've done some research about the "perfect" green release in NBA 2K. Apparently, a green release shot will have a higher chance of going in, but it doesn't guarantee that it will. Interesting. Franklin said it best, "...in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”
