The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t make LaVar Ball’s dreams come true this offseason. LiAngelo Ball, the younger brother of Lakers’ guard Lonzo Ball, was not selected by the team or signed to play in summer league.
However, this has not deterred LiAngelo’s goals. He still thinks he will still be a Laker down the road. After leaving UCLA in December 2017, he spent a season with Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas in the Lithuania Basketball League. Now, he is a part of his father’s development league on the Los Angeles Ballers.
He will be unable to declare for another draft after going undrafted.
