On Sunday, many people including the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a shocking loss when Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven other people were killed in a helicopter crash in California.
At 41-years-old, Bryant was certainly taken far too soon. The timing of his passing has been extremely hard on many, as basketball players around the NBA have been viably upset during tributes.
For the Lakers, they haven’t played since last Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Their next scheduled game was to be against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night in the Staples Center.
