On February 21, 2017 controlling owner of the Lakers, Jeanie Buss, fired GM Mitch Kupchak and VP of Operations Jim Buss. She replaced the two men who ran the Lakers 20 feet into the ground with Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka.
Since Magic and Pelinka have taken over control of the Lakers they’ve done a great job. Here’s a quick rundown of what “Maginka” have done to get the Lakers to where they are today.
