After a lot of drama a dysfunction in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Lakers have hired Frank Vogel to become their next head coach.
Not too long ago, it looked like Tyronn Lue was going to be the guy for Los Angeles. However, the Lakers only offered Lue a three-year contract, which was something that Lue wasn’t interested in.
Vogel was originally being talked about as a potential assistant on Lue’s staff. However, when the Lakers restarted their head coaching search, he quickly became the best option for the job.
With the fallout from failing to land Lue being a real poor look for the franchise, Vogel is a pretty solid hire.
