If you go back through the wonderful history of the Los Angeles Lakers, the point guard position has always been one of the many centers of attention. Just think about all the wonderful players the Lakers have had at the position.
Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Derrick Fisher, Nick Van Exel, Steve Nash, Gary Payton and the list goes on and on. Even up to this current day when Dennis Schroder played the position last season, it is very evident that the Lakers, for the most part, have always had very talented players at that position.
