Lakers Tie Mark for Worst Loss in Franchise History

The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Utah Jazz by a score of 123-75 on Monday, tying a franchise record for the largest margin of defeat in a game, per Sportsnet Stats.

Unsurprisingly, the Lakers' other 48-point loss was also pretty recent, occurring on March 6, 2014 against the Los Angeles Clippers with a final score of 142-94.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant missed that game against his Staples Center rivals a couple of years ago, but he wasn't fortunate enough to miss Monday's humiliation at the hands of a 37-37 Utah squad.
