Lakers sign Travis Wear to growing training camp roster, according to report

The Los Angeles Lakers have added forward Travis Wear to their training camp roster, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical. The UCLA product spent last season overseas, and most recently appeared in the NBA during the 2014-15 season, when he played for the New York Knicks. Wear suited up in 51 games for New York, starting one, and averaging 3.9 points and two rebounds in 13.2 minutes per game.

Wojnarowski writes that Wear will "compete for a roster spot," although how much he'll actually compete is an issue of semantics.
