Lakers shut down Brandon Ingram for remainder of Las Vegas Summer League

LAS VEGAS- The Los Angeles Lakers announced that Brandon Ingram would not play in the rest of Las Vegas Summer League after suffering leg cramping during the closing seconds of regulation in their 96-93 overtime loss to the LA Clippers.

Ingram said he felt fine after the game and wanted to go back in, and the Lakers say he “will likely remain with the team and continue to practice.”

Ingram was unbelievable in his first summer league outing, scoring 26 points on 17 shots using a combination of balletic footwork and even brute force at times to get to the basket or create pull-up jumpers.
