On Friday, April 1, 2016 the Lakers and Jack in the Box hosted the Read to Achieve Grand Prize event at the Gordon Clubhouse in El Segundo, CA. This event celebrated 4 classrooms outstanding achievement of 100% completion of the Lakers Reading Challenge as part of the Read to Achieve program presented by Jack in the Box. Congratulations to Excelsior Elementary, Carr Elementary, Christopher Dena Elementary, and 107th Street Elementary on winning this year’s Grand Prize. The classrooms were invited for a day filled with reading, basketball and fun!
Upon arrival the classrooms were greeted by Lakers staff and served a hearty lunch provided by Jack in the Box.
