Lakers officially add Travis Wear and Julian Jacobs to training camp roster

The Los Angeles Lakers made their reported deal with former New York Knicks forward Travis Wear official on Thursday, according to a team press release. The team also announced they would add undrafted free agent guard Julian Jacobs to their training camp roster.

Jacobs, a USC product, averaged 11.6 points, 5.4 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game during his third season at USC. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jacobs’ official USC bio says he lists Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo as his favorite players because of “their style of play.”

As we mentioned with Wear on Monday, Jacobs is a long shot to make the Lakers’ final 15-man roster for the regular season.
